25-0417: A bill for an ordinance approving a proposed First Amendment to the Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Allied Waste Systems of Colorado, LLC (Allied) to extend the Parties’ due diligence period associated with the previously approved property exchange wherein the City and Allied will exchange certain property as set forth in the Agreement. Amends a contract with Allied Waste Systems of Colorado LLC to extend the due diligence period for both parties until May 2025 regarding the previously approved exchange of ownership of an approximately 18 acre parcel of land fronting Tower Road in the City of Commerce City owned by Allied with a 25.33 acre parcel in Adams County west of E470 owned by Denver International Airport (PLANE-202475538/PLANE-202578383). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 5-5-2025. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 4-2-2025.
