2023-1822: Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend an in-kind donation of food and event space, valued at Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00), donated by Boston University. The purpose of this donation is to support the inaugural Mayor’s Civic Summit, which will occur on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Boston University. The Mayor’s Civic Summit will train and connect 200 Boston residents across neighborhoods in skill-based workshops, panels, and networking activities focused on leadership, fundraising, and communication, among other topics. The rules were suspended; the order was passed.
