0655-2024: To authorize the Director of the Department of Development to execute grant agreements with numerous not-for-profit, social service agencies in an amount up to $4,420,000.00$4,320,000.00 for Year 2 of the department’s Elevate! program; to authorize the provision of services for a 12 month period from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024; to authorize the payment for reasonable food and non-alcoholic beverages for participants of programs included in the grant agreements; to authorize the advancement of funds on a pre-determined schedule during the term of the agreement; to authorize the transfer between object classes within the Hotel Motel Tax Fund in the amount up to $3,235,000.00; to authorize the expenditure of up to $2,020,000.00 $1,920,000.00 from the Hotel Motel Tax Fund and up to $2,400,000.00 from the General Fund.
