The grant would fund the purchase of the necessary personal protective and safety equipment to comply with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards to enhance firefighter safety, from the Committee on Public Safety and Criminal Justice. No objection being heard, the matter was properly before the body.
