COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP This committee consists of seven members. Four members are from City Council and serve two year terms with an unlimited number of terms. Three members are non-members of the City Council and who have experience in auditing, finance, accounting, law, or relevant compliance fields. These members may be recommended by a member of the Audit Committee or by local chapters of relevant professional associations. Recommendations shall be reviewed by the Audit Committee and nominations made to council for approval. Any nominee should be a member of their corresponding professional association. The term for a professional member is three years. MEETINGS SCHEDULE The Audit Committee holds regular meetings at 3:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday, every other month.
