0748-2023: To authorize and direct the Director of Recreation and Parks to enter into an agreement to accept a grant from the Ohio Department of Education in the amount of $2,500,000.00 for the 2023 Summer Food Program; to authorize the appropriation of $2,500,000.00 to the Recreation and Parks Grant Fund; to enter into an agreement with Columbus City Schools in the amount of $2,300,000.00 for the preparation and delivery of meals for the Summer Food Program; to authorize the expenditure of $2,300,000.00 from the Recreation and Parks Grant Fund; and to declare an emergency.
