The staff is responsible for preparing and maintaining files of all meetings, contracts, leases, legal opinions and agreements as approved by the Board of Commissioners. Our friendly staff assists the public with reviewing and obtaining records from various Knox County Boards and Committees of the Knox County Commission, and upon request, prepares verbatim transcripts along with duplicate audio tapes, videotapes and DVDs of various meetings. The Commission Library also accepts applications for Knox County Beer Permits, issues Beer permits upon approval and collects annual privilege tax fees for establishments that hold a beer permit.
