· 0° BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Meetings & Minutes The Des Moines County Board of Supervisors meets in regular sessions every Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. in the Boardroom at the Des Moines County Courthouse. All items that require board discussion or action must be on the Board’s meeting agenda. To have an item placed on the weekly agenda you may contact a Board member or the County Auditor. Agenda items are due by 10 a.m. on the Friday before the next Tuesday’s meeting. Township trustees and clerks are predominantly appointed, except in Richland and Washington Townships where officials are elected to four-year terms. Trustees annually prepare budgets and oversee services including fire and rescue, cemetery maintenance, township hall repairs, and tort liability insurance, while clerks maintain official records and prepare annual financial statements.
