3176-2023: To authorize and direct the Mayor of the City of Columbus to accept the award from the State of Ohio’s First Responder Recruitment, Retention, Resiliency and Wellness program; to authorize Deputy Director Speaks as the official city representative to act in connection with this grant; to authorize an appropriation of $1,000,000.00 from the unappropriated balance of the General Government Grant Fund to the Department of Public Safety to cover the cost of grant activities and expenditures; and to declare an emergency.
