1857-2023: To authorize the Director of the Department of Development to accept and execute a private grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation in an amount up to $2,000,000.00 under their “Monuments Project” program for the City’s Reimagining Columbus project; to authorize the appropriation of up to $2,000,000.00 of The Mellon Foundation grant from the Private Grant Fund, upon receipt of the grant funds as follows: $250,000.00 for personnel and $750,000.00 for professional services in 2023 and $1,000,000.00 in 2024; and to declare an emergency.
