2170-2023: To authorize and direct the Administrative Judge of the Franklin County Municipal Court to accept two grant awards from the Franklin County Office of Homeland Security & Justice Programs; to appropriate $76,000.00 from the unappropriated balance of the general government grant fund to the Franklin County Municipal Court Department of Probation and Pretrial Services for the purpose of providing Intimate Partner Abuse & Batterer’s Intervention Programming specifically for the LGBTQ community and three assessment specialists from Alvis Inc. for the provision of pre-trial intake support and risk-based assessments in the Municipal Court; and to declare an emergency.
