2025-1551: Councilor Weber called Docket #1551, message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) in the form of a grant for the Impact Driven Collaborative Project Grant, awarded by Liberty Mutual Foundation Inc. to be administered by the Office of Workforce Development. The grant will fund the Boston Tree Equity Asset Mapping (BTEAM) project, in partnership with American Forest and Speak for the Trees. BTEAM aims to enhance urban forestry in Boston by identifying local collaborations and creating job opportunities in green infrastructure, from the Committee on Labor, Workforce, and Economic Development. No objection being heard, the matter was properly before the body. On motion of Councilor Weber, the order was passed.
