2025 Alley and Sidewalk Improvements July 22, 2025 Colfax Street Storm Sewer Extension Description As part of the 2025 Alley and Sidewalk Improvements Project, a storm sewer extension will be installed on Colfax Street between Hartrey Avenue and Brown Avenue. The work includes pavement saw cutting, trench excavation, storm sewer installation, street patching, and parkway restoration as needed. Schedule Work is anticipated to begin within the next two weeks. The exact start will be posted on temporary construction zone “No Parking” signs at least 48 hours in advance of the work. Parking will be prohibited during daytime work hours (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) while construction takes place. Street sweeping parking restrictions will be waived for a one block radius around the construction zone when temporary daytime no parking is in effect. Every effort will be made to complete the work in a timely manner to minimize any inconveniences caused by the construction. Contractor The contractor for this project is Alliance Contractors, Inc.
