Home City Clerk Public Records Public Records Your Right to Public Information Everyone has a right to examine and take a copy of any City of Boise public record. All public records are available for inspection except as otherwise expressly provided by statute. There can be costs associated with gathering and reproducing records. Customers must pay the appropriate cost before the records are distributed. If you have questions concerning the costs involved, please contact the City Clerk's office prior to submitting your request. If a request is made for an item that is not a "Public Record", the Idaho Public Records Act may not be applicable. The City Clerk's office works to ensure that all requests are screened and only "Public Records" are accessed. Records released pursuant to this request are not warranted as to completeness or accuracy. The information provided represents the disclosable information pursuant to Idaho Code Title 74, Chapter 1 and Boise City Code.
