The City of Bloomington, Indiana issued this Title VI notice to affirm compliance with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related federal statutes prohibiting discrimination in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance from the U.S. Department of Transportation on the grounds of race, color, age, national origin, gender, disability, or income status. The City extended Title VI protections beyond federally funded programs to all municipal facilities, programs, activities, and services, and added protection against discrimination based on religion and limited English proficiency.
