ABATE of Alaska/ ABATE of Anchorage Board Meeting Minutes

ABATE of Alaska/ABATE of Anchorage held a board meeting on December 3, 2020, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM with six of seven board members present, establishing quorum. The board approved the November 5, 2020 meeting minutes and conducted elections for Anchorage ABATE, resulting in Ken Coston as President, Tim Kelly as Treasurer, and new board members Katarzyna Sowa-Lapinskas, Tiffany Karling, and Dan "Spider" Schneider. Anchorage ABATE achieved Business license, EIN, and 501(c)(3) status, with finalized bylaws signed and approved by the board. Planning for the 2021 Bike Blessing event is underway, with Alaska Veterans assigned to present colors and coordinate the official afterparty, and Tom Evans tasked with obtaining proclamations from the Governor and new Anchorage mayor.
