The Recorder’s Office does not carry blank documents for recording purposes; however, we can provide notary services on documents that will be recorded with our office. Please exercise caution when recording documents that contain personal data identifiers or other information of a sensitive nature that may be exempt from disclosure under applicable law. If you are submitting documents for recording, it is the responsibility of the party submitting to redact any personal identifying information (PII), such as social security number, date of birth and any account numbers. This is not the responsibility of the Recorder’s office to identify and redact personal identifying information (PII). If you would like to record a document without redacting any personal identifying information, please fill out this form and attach it to the document you are recording. Recording Fees All documents and checks must be written in dark blue or black ink to meet scanning requirements. Any document that does not support a recording label will require a cover sheet. This may increase the recording fee of your document.
