  • 2021-1873: WHEREAS, the Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (K.W.S.A.) is a professional wrestling promotion organization founded in Pittsburgh in 2000 by Lou Zygmuncik and Shawn Blanchard. Its first show was held on February 18, 2000, at Peabody High School; and, WHEREAS, Shawn Blanchard has been with the K.S.W.A. organization for over 20 years. He is a 6-time KSWA Heavyweight Champion and has held that title more times than anyone. In addition to the six reigns, he has held tag team championship three times and is a two-time Tri-State champion; and, WHEREAS, in 2005, the organization began a tradition of donating toys to Allegheny County’s “Holiday Project” campaign, which has become an annual show named “FanFest” and brings thousands of toys to needy children in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area; and, WHEREAS, since then, they have performed and helped raise money for American Legions, Veterans of Foreign Affairs, cancer research, assistance to mentally disabled persons, food banks, and so much more; and, WHERESA, KSWA appears in numerous venues in the Pittsburgh area, including appearing twice at the Obey House in the neighborhood of Crafton Heights. On Saturday, September 25, 2021, K.W.S.A. Wrestling will be at the American Legion Langley Post 496 and will hold a Megastar Meet & Greet on Sunday, September 12 prior to the event; and,
